How NOT to fail ...

Hey Job!

Fellowship is this Friday, Nov. 5, 7:30pm - in the K-room! Join us to study a passage in James, share about what we've failed and why and how we plan to not fail in the future. We will also talk about some Christmas projects coming up for Job.

THANKS to all that came out to Gym Night last week! We had great fun playing some dodgeballs (Thanks Ben and Jenn for the dodgeballs) and then played some fun silly games (Thanks Byron and Richie) and had a GOOD workout with soccer and basketball. We really look forward to our next gym night. We definitely got a lot of good sweat and fun from this one. Pictures below! (note, Jenn is hanging from the net because we had spent a good time trying to jump out way there - I guess she succeeded! *cough) and .......... what takes 4 grown men to work together? To get some basketballs down from the net. :P

PAL has been pruned!

PAL has been pruned! We have reached a total of $5000 and the government has matched us to make the final total be $10000. Wow! Praise God! It was definitely a great time watching PAL get pruned, with help from Jeff Concepcion! Thanks for the participation and support everyone!

Soul Cravings

Details about this Friday:

When/Where: 7:30pm - October 15 at the K-Room, later in the N007 room
What: SOUL CRAVINGS! We will start a dvd series that we'll be going back to throughout the year. Lots of neat things to discuss and learn about. This will help prep us when we go into the mission field and act in God's love. We have a special guest, Shirley Unger to share about what she has experienced from Germany before we watch.
Why: We are also breaking up into our set groups for the rest of the year! So please don't be left behind and come attend so you can be placed! James & Ada's group is now full, but Jeff's group still has some open spaces. :) Also we will be eating some CRAVE cupcakes to go with our dvd watching!!
How to get in action: We'll be introducing some other ways we can be involved with our church and community -short term involvement! (like following up in how we can help Ukraine, etc.)
